My Sweet Mom

My sweet mom, Jalaine Holmstead Speth passed away on July 31, 2010. We will sure miss this amazing woman!! My mom was the greatest. She was sweet, caring, funny, and loving. I am so lucky that I got to call her my mother. Mom, we miss you and love you!

Happy 2nd Wedding Anniversary

Ali and I celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary on June 31, 2010. We had a great day. Ali bought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers and we went to the Sheraton Hotel for their buffet dinner. It was great and I am so happy to be married to my handsome, kind, wonderful hubby.

Ali has a huge family. He is the youngest of seven children. He has three older sisters and three older brothers. He has 38 nieces and nephews. His mom is also the oldest of 13 children, so his extended family is large also. It is fun to meet all of his family members when we are in India, but most of them don't speak English so communication is difficult. Nonetheless, Addie and I had a great time spending time with our Indian family.

The Apollo Circus

So.....we decided to take the kids to the circus when it came to Jaipur. By all of the kids-I mean ALL of the kids. We took 19 kids and 4 adults to attend the circus. It cost $20 dollars for the entry tickets, bottles of water, and bags of popcorn for everyone! What a bargain and we had a great time!! The Whole Gang

Addie adores her big brother, Sohil. She loved him!! Whenever she got to see Sohil, she would start waving her arms wildly, scream with delight, and run to give him big kisses.

This summer we went to India to visit Ali and his family. Some day this whole immigration process will be finished and my family can all live on the same continent! We had a great time with Ali. Addie adores her Papa. She loved to sit with him, play with him, give him big kisses, and just be with him.
